SYNNEX has been awarded a new five-year U.S. General Services Administration Schedule 70 contract – its fifth in the past 21 years. The contract is renewable for an additional 15 years and allows SYNNEX’s value-added resellers (VARs), including Comstor partners, the opportunity to provide solutions from more than 230 technology original equipment manufacturers to federal agencies.

In addition, through SYNNEX’s participation in GSA’s Cooperative Purchasing Program, VARs can provide those solutions to state, local, and tribal governmental entities in the United States.

“Our goal is to provide technology OEMs a viable route to public sector markets and give our reseller partners access to a broad spectrum of products that solve problems for public sector entities,” Eddie Franklin, Vice President of Sales and Public Sector at SYNNEX shared in a press release from the company. “GSA is a widely recognized procurement vehicle with tight controls and clear rules of engagement that allow OEMs and resellers to advance technology solutions with confidence. SYNNEX is proud of our long-term relationship with GSA and we look forward to collaborating with our OEM and reseller partners to deliver IT solutions to both federal government agencies and state and local entities.”  

The contract gives SYNNEX VARs the ability to streamline government contracting and close business quicker and more efficiently. According to the SYNNEX website, the company “brings the power of distribution to GSA through:
