Cisco Live! 2021 took place virtually in late March, bringing together all members of the Cisco community to learn about the latest developments and learning tools available to partners and end users. After a year of remote work, it’s no surprise that many of the topics for this year’s sessions were around continuing to bolster connectivity, security, and collaboration capabilities for the disparate workforce. Aligning with the theme of “Turn IT Up,” attendees and leadership were eager to have these conversations at Cisco Live! 2021 and explore more ways to strengthen a remote work environment.

With evolving expectations and needs for end users and Cisco partners alike in this “new normal,” Cisco leadership spoke directly to the importance of a solutions-focused mindset and how its offerings are adjusting to help partners deliver a superior customer experience. A recent post from Alex Pujols, Director of Systems Engineering for Cisco’s Global Partner Organization, elaborated on a few key takeaways from the event for partners to keep in mind as they tailor their customer experience efforts for today’s end users:

  • Cisco is continuing to invest heavily in helping customers optimize their application experiences. Understanding that the application is the gateway to the infrastructure, partners can help customers gain visibility into their data, extract valuable business insights from that data, and act on those insights.”
  • Customers demand security in everything they do. Delivering secure, agile networks by leveraging Cisco’s suite of platforms allows customers to focus on their core businesses as opposed to the resiliency and security of their technology infrastructures.”
  • The future of work is to work wherever is most convenient for our customers. This requires a new type of secure connectivity solution that Cisco can provide with technology that works in any type of work scenario.”

Pujols added, “Understanding these key partner takeaways from Cisco Live is just a first step in aligning Cisco technology, customer demand, and your value to be the bridge between technology and the outcomes our customers demand.”
