Comstor recently hosted its 6th Annual Federal Executive Summit in Reston, VA, a stone’s throw from the federal government’s backyard. The Summit is designed to help our partners prepare for the federal buying season and is quickly becoming a tradition for Comstor partners. Each year, the Summit covers current and upcoming trends in federal buying and attendees are encouraged to participate with speakers in a candid and interactive approach to high-level concerns in IT innovation and business best practices.
Comstor partners gain access to industry thought leaders and learn about emerging developments in IT. As a result, a critical focus is approaching tactical business strategy and best practices in panels such as “Business Strategy in an Age of Innovation and Disruption,” moderated by Alan Balutis, Director of Federal IBSG, Cisco. Within this panel, Mr. Balutis and panelists David Wennergren, Senior VP of Technology, Professional Services Council; Jim Williams, President, Williams-Schambach; and Dave McClure, Chief Strategist, Veris Group, sought to determine how best to maneuver in the ever-changing IT market.
In addition to Mr. Balutis, the Summit’s speaker roster included many more business and IT thought leaders, such as Larry Allen, President of Allen Federal; Larry Payne, Area VP, US Federal Sales, Cisco; and Comstor’s own Geoff Fancher, Senior VP of Comstor US and Matt Karst, Senior Director, Cloud Services.
Comstor, known for dedication and high standards, complements the federally focused Summit, with account managers who specialize in federal partnerships, with an understanding of the business, distinctive partner needs and Cisco’s processes. Mr. Fancher, in his welcoming talk, shared that at Comstor we are Cisco centric and Cisco focused. And, with many Cisco veterans in house, no one knows and understands Cisco’s way of doing things more so than Comstor.
Not only is Comstor Cisco centric, but we are also heavily committed to the federal market.
We have a deep understanding of the needs of our federal partners during the busy federal buying season; as a result, Comstor offers many benefits to partners. From a financial aspect, we offer access to expanded credit and the terms needed to work within the federal market. We also offer an increased capacity in stock during the busy season and the flexibility to hold and ship compliant inventory.
